MEET THE PASSIONATE PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING TO PURSUE KINOSOL'S MISSION TO DECREASE FOOD WASTE.
Co-founder & CEO
Mikayla's desire to solve global issues initially came from first-hand experience of what poverty truly means, visiting rural villages in Mexico. Since that day, she has been inspired to learn as much as she can to help improve rural development and living standards around the world. Years of traveling and learning about other cultures has allowed Mikayla to see life from other people's perspectives in order to create solutions that will truly be beneficial. KinoSol has allowed Mikayla to turn her dream of providing sustainable solutions to people in need, into a reality.
Rebecca's interests in agricultural education and international development led her to KinoSol. Growing up on an Iowa dairy farm and row crop operation, paired with a grandma who traveled extensively during Rebecca’s childhood, made her excited about global food topics. Rebecca’s love for helping those in need and making the world a better place makes KinoSol a perfect fit.
Director of Global Partnerships
Michelle joined the KinoSol team in order to put her extensive experience creating partnerships to use in the realm of international development. Michelle believes in putting her time and talents toward supporting the improvement of livelihoods globally and does so through her efforts at KinoSol. Partnerships are a powerful tool in the eyes of Michelle. She sees them as a catalyst of change that enables more good to be done together than what could ever be achieved individually.
Brady is KinoSol's engineer. With a background in entrepreneurship and mechanical engineering, Brady loves helping startups overcome technical challenges. For him, it's about the chase rather than the exact destination. Through his work with design of experiments and Solidworks, he helps KinoSol to optimize products for use in developing regions of the world. Brady is motivated to be a KinoSol team member because of the opportunity it gives him to be a leader and to provide others with a source of income through the use of the KinoSol Orenda.
Ellie’s exposure to international travel and community service from a young age drew her to work in the field of food insecurity. That desire has only been solidified through her work with international NGOs and government to improve rural livelihood. She believes communication is vital to affecting positive change, and KinoSol provides a perfect opportunity and team to help make that change.
